A very inspiring lecture. Learning how to deal with negativity in our everyday life is very rewarding on the spiritual path. If we are flattered upon hearing praises and disappointed when someone criticizes us, we know that our mind is not purified yet. We need to rise above these dualities of life by keeping our mind in God at all times. Think of every situation as a blessing of God to help you progress in your spiritual journey. Thank you, Swamiji.

A saint sees the negative circumstances as an opportunity to uplift and purify their mind. A spiritual aspirant should not indulge in negative self-talk but see the negative situations around them an an opportunity for self improvement.

Very nicely explained by Swami Mukundananda ji how we can see the graces even in negative circumstances. Loved the example of Saint Ekanath how he was calm and looking the grace of God in it, when some person spat on him all through the day after he took sacred bath in River Narmada. Also Swamiji gave the beautiful example of Advaitacharya disciple of Shree Chaitanya Mahaprabu how he was looking for an opportunity that his Guru can scold him. He preached the philosophy of jnaan marg and got scoldings from Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and he felt so happy and said, "thank you for scolding me as I got boarded of hearing the praises from you my Gurudev ". Finally Swamiji gave another example of Sufi saint who was hanged to death due to not accepting the false rules of the religiosity and looking God coming to him in the form of death.
Thank you Swamiji through wonderful examples from many saints you opened our eyes to see the grace of God in all the negative circumstances which we try to avoid all the time.
There is no comparison for your grace and divine teachings.
